I’m a software engineer based in East Tennessee with a background in backend development, technical leadership, and building products from the ground up.Most of my career has been spent working on APIs, internal platforms, and financial software systems, primarily with Go and modern web technologies. Over the years I’ve moved from individual contributor roles into leading projects and engineering efforts, but I still enjoy being hands-on and actually building things.Outside of my day job, I’ve spent the last several years creating my own projects and businesses. I built HomeBatch to help home bakery owners keep track of orders, customer conversations, and pickup scheduling without needing a full ecommerce site. I also created InspoCake, a simple platform focused on cake inspiration and design organization. Finally, I'm also the owner of FakeText.Me . A platform that allows marketing and product personnel to generate real looking text conversations, videos, and screenshots.I’m also involved in small multifamily real estate investing through BHTR Properties LLC, where I focus on buying and improving long-term rental properties. At the core, I like building practical things like software, businesses, and systems that solve real problems and are actually useful day to day.
